Giftedness, Resources for Gifted Kids and their
Parents
I grew up gifted. My school had neither the resources nor the
experience to really know what to do with me. People are starting to
come around to the idea that the gifted need more than just the
expectation that 'they'll do fine' if left to their own devices.
Parents need to be proactive and fight to make sure their children get the
attention and challenge they deserve.
Incidentally, if you are
interested in emailing me, I respond to all emails about gifted kids.
If there is anything in my difficult childhood that I can use to spare
