| As an academic, I do research. I have some that I've
done in the past on the topic of linguistics. You will be able to
find copies of completed papers
here, at my academic writing page.
This portion of the site will likely be used for fledgling ideas, ideas in progress, and data gathering. Masters of Applied Mathematics Exit Project: Solving Palatalization in Japanese Mimetics -- I've been trying to update this for years, and never quite finished. Also, you'll notice that many of the formulae are missing in the online version. Possible Articulatory Bases for the Sequencing of Consonants by Place Features -- this was preparatory work for the dissertation in linguistics I never got to write. I better shut up now, or I'm going to start swearing... Manner Alternation in Ancient Greek Stem-Final Coronals Triggered by mu-Initial Suffixes -- I just sent this abstract off to a conference in Germany. We'll see what happens. (in Word format). Update (1 May 2005) I was accepted to the conference, but I can't afford to go.
