I have decided that it is in my best interests to start over.  My biggest regret in my life is leaving astronomy, so my plan is to go back.  I don't pretend it will be easy, but it's something I need to do.  I don't think I'll be happy without it.  I have lost my way and I need to go back to what I know brings me the most joy.

The plan, in short, is based on a selection of universities with programs in astronomy or astrophysics, is to find a job nearby so that I can attend part-time while I teach mathematics.  I'm looking for positions at a community college or university, a position I can take with a masters degree.

Of course, while I'm working on this, I might also do this.  I'm sorry, it's yet another passion of mine, mostly because of personal experience.... painful personal experience.
