Writing, Poetry

These are not in any particular order.  Not even particularly in order of my favourites, or chronologically or any of that.  I'll add more when I get a chance, or write more I think are relatively decent.  I can tell you that generally speaking, the shorter ones predate the longer ones, roughly.  Similarly, the ones in stanzas are earlier, generally.  And let's just make it clear from the beginning... I don't really write happy poetry, so if that's what you're looking for, stop now.

In addition to these selected poems, you can also read my entire collection of poem at my Poetry Journal.  At the time of this update, over 450 of my approximately 500 poems are posted.  Until all of them are up, I'm posting one a day (the first 450 were already typed up, but the rest are only handwritten so one-a-day seems reasonable to me).  You may also visit my tags post on this journal; it provides a complete list of topics and keywords under which you can sort the poems.  I have several more I need to add, but for now this will have to do--adding the new tags I have in mind will likely take another 10-20 hours.  I should also add that most of my poems are not written for the sake of art per se, but rather to work through boredom or emotions run amok.  I don't promise that even the majority of them constitute quality work.  You can also see the complete list of titles of poems month by month on the journal by going to the archive and clicking on the months (or the links that say 'view subjects').  The poems are posted roughly in chronological order, although these poems represent things I've written over the last 18 years or so, and they tend to come in spurts.
